99 Nights Surviving the Forest is a first-person survival horror game set in a dark, low-poly forest. You are alone, tasked with surviving 99 nights against an ever-growing threat. During the day, you explore a procedurally generated forest to gather wood, food, metal, and other essential supplies. Use these resources to craft tools, weapons, and upgrades that help you endure the freezing nights. When night falls, a cursed deer-like monster emerges, growing more aggressive as the cold deepens. Your only safe haven is the campfire, which must be kept burning to repel the creature. Every decision matters: how far to wander, what to carry, when to return. The forest becomes more hostile as days pass, with scarcer resources and a stronger monster. The atmosphere is tense, the visuals low-poly yet haunting, and the stakes high. Can you survive until the 99th dawn?
The game cycles through day and night phases. During the day, you freely roam the forest to collect resources such as wood, food, metal, and rare components. Inventory management is crucial; you must balance carrying capacity with essential supplies. You can craft items like axes, spears, and bandages at the campfire. As night approaches, you must return to the campfire, light it, and keep it fueled. The monster attacks in waves, becoming more aggressive and resilient each night. You can use crafted weapons, throw objects, and employ environmental traps to fend it off while maintaining the fire. Running out of fuel or letting the fire extinguish means death. There is no save system – if you die, you restart from day one. The goal is to survive for 99 consecutive nights, each one more difficult than the last.
