Count Downula

Count Downula is a game about helping Count Dracula escape the sun. Sitting on an isolated Transylvanian bench, Count Downula wallowed in his loneliness. His reputation as a mighty undead aristocrat meant that he had no one to truly call a friend. The count felt the side of his face suddenly begin to sizzle as the sun climbed over the horizon. He jumped to his feet. The countdown had begun. Guide the vampire to safety before the sun's rays prove fatal. Navigate through a pixel-art world filled with traps and obstacles, and use your wits to survive.

In Count Downula, players control the vampire Count Downula as he tries to avoid the deadly sunlight. Move left and right to stay in the shade or reach protective cover before time runs out. The sun constantly advances, and any exposure to direct light will end the game. Some levels may include traps and puzzles that require careful timing and quick reflexes. The pixel-art style and simple controls make it accessible, while the increasing difficulty provides a challenge.
