Devil's Gate
Devil's Gate is a platformer game where players guess trap locations on maps to avoid death, testing rationality and reflexes with each critical step.
There is an egg, and it is very big. Your job is to crack it open. Chip the giant egg plate by plate in first person, fill your bucket, and sell the shards at the terminal. Cash buys bigger tools, dynamite, drones, and gear. Hit the same spot too hard and the egg gets angry. Dig through shell, membrane, and gold-veined ore to the glowing core, then hatch it. The game has 10 strange specimens, then endless bigger eggs, along with boss fights, random events, hatchling pets, loot crates, trophies, daily missions, a 7-day gift, and a Lucky Wheel. Progress saves automatically, the game supports 9 languages, and it plays on desktop, phone, and tablet.
You chip shell off the egg plate by plate, fill your bucket, sell the shards at the terminal, and spend the cash on bigger tools (pickaxe, sledgehammer, jackhammer, plasma drill, laser cutter), dynamite, drones, and gear. Hit the same spot too hard and the egg gets angry: the payout climbs until it wakes up and throws you across the room. Dig through shell, membrane, and gold-veined ore to the glowing core, then hatch it. After 10 strange specimens come endless bigger eggs, and the game includes boss fights and random events such as gold rushes, power cuts, egg sneezes, and eggquakes.
Desktop: WASD to move, mouse to look, hold left click to hit, Q or right-click for dynamite, E to lift, 1-7 for shop and menus, 1-8 to buy in the shop, and Esc to pause. Mobile: the left side of the screen moves, drag on the right side to look, and the HIT, BOOM, and LIFT buttons handle hitting, dynamite, and lifting.
