In 2027, as the world teeters on the brink of environmental and political collapse, NATO's United Space Mission (USM) discovers an alien artifact on the moon, containing a message that catalyzes a huge leap forward in human sciences, abruptly catapulting humanity into an interstellar age. However, some believe we were not ready for this transformation. In Freefall Tournament, players take on the role of space marines, participating in a tournament that will determine the future, utilizing advanced technology and teamwork in intense battles.

Freefall Tournament's core gameplay revolves around fast-paced team combat, where players can choose from various classes such as Tank, Scout, Gunner, and Tech, each with unique weapons and jetpacks. The game emphasizes dynamic aerial combat, allowing players to hop and bound across the map using jetpacks for momentum and speed. Team skill and coordination are crucial for victory, with matches typically lasting 10-20 minutes, offering diverse combat experiences including melee, ranged, and aerial attacks with weapons like hammers, swords, guns, and bombs, as well as deploying turrets and healing teammates.
