About the Game

GEM MAHJONG blends classic mahjong-solitaire matching with a sparkling gem theme for a light, pick-up-and-play puzzle experience. The board is built from layered stacks of gems, and your job is to find pairs of identical gems that are free — meaning nothing covers them — and clear them one by one. As the layers thin out, gems hidden underneath are revealed, and the deeper you go, the more your observation and planning skills are tested. The game features 15 hand-crafted gem symbols with strong silhouettes and distinct colors, so you can tell them apart at a glance even on a small phone screen. Four power-ups help when you get stuck: Magnet, Sweep, Shuffle and Flip, letting you pull a gem into the tray, clear extra tiles, rearrange the board, or reveal covered gems. Two additional slots can be unlocked when the tray gets tight, giving you extra breathing room. The portrait layout works with both touch and mouse, and the rules are simple enough to learn in seconds — yet mastering the deeper levels takes patience and care. How deep can you dig?

How to Play

Your goal is to clear the whole board before the timer runs out. Gems are stacked in layers, and a gem is only free to pick when nothing covers it. Tap or click two free gems showing the same symbol and they vanish together. If a gem you pick has no matching partner available, it drops into the slot tray at the bottom of the screen. The tray holds a limited number of slots — if it fills up without a match, the level ends immediately, so keep an eye on the remaining space and avoid random tapping. When you get stuck, use the power-ups below the tray: Magnet pulls a chosen gem into the tray, Sweep removes unwanted tiles, Shuffle rearranges the board, and Flip reveals covered gems. You can also unlock two extra slots to relieve the pressure. Balancing power-ups and tray space is the key to beating tougher levels.

Controls

Tap or click two free gems showing the same symbol to remove them. A tile is free when nothing covers it. Cleared tiles go to the slot tray at the bottom — if it fills up, the level ends. Use the Magnet, Sweep, Shuffle and Flip power-ups below the tray when you get stuck.
