Devil's Gate
Devil's Gate is a platformer game where players guess trap locations on maps to avoid death, testing rationality and reflexes with each critical step.
A parkour game set entirely on rooftops, Going Up Rooftop has you climbing walls, leaping across ledges, sliding under pipes and riding ziplines toward the sky. The rule is simple: keep going up. However, stamina depletes during hangs, and checkpoints save your progress. Coins unlock new outfits. Weather changes with altitude — rain, snow and wind make higher sections more demanding. There are three modes: Story, pure Parkour, and Climb & Jump, giving you different ways to play. With direct movement physics and a bright urban open feel, the game rewards players who discover faster routes and keep perfect technique under pressure.
Your core loop is traversal: move with WASD or arrow keys, press Space to jump and grab ledges, Shift to sprint, Ctrl to crouch/crawl. Hold the climb key to accelerate up ladders and poles. The mouse steers the camera so you can always see your next handhold. Plan routes across rooftops: use wall jumps to overcome vertical gaps, slide through tight vents, and time your zipline crossings. While running, collect coins and touch checkpoints; stamina only matters when you hang, so don't freeze too long. In Parkour mode you face pristine obstacle runs; in Climb & Jump you try for fastest vertical ascent; Story mode adds themed objectives and weather effects that change physics. Each run is scored and your best time is saved, motivating you to master every shortcut. The key to success is fluidly chaining moves—jump, grab, climb, sprint—while adjusting to unpredictable gusts or slick surfaces. This makes each area feel like a living puzzle.
