Gorilla Tag

A fast-paced multiplayer action game where players move, jump, and climb using only arm momentum in tag or infection modes against real opponents.

About the Game

Gorilla Tag is a unique multiplayer action game developed by Another Axiom Inc. The core idea is to abandon traditional movement: players rely solely on swinging their arms to generate momentum for running, jumping, and climbing. This physics-based movement system is both liberating and challenging, requiring players to master balance and propulsion. The game features classic tag mode and intense infection mode, supporting real-time battles with players worldwide. Maps are filled with trees, walls, and structures, providing stages for acrobatic maneuvers. Easy to pick up but hard to master, the fast-paced matches deliver chaos and laughter.

How to Play

In Gorilla Tag, players move forward by alternating arm swings, similar to a gorilla's locomotion. Grabbing onto trunks, walls, and other surfaces allows climbing, while releasing hands performs jumps. There are two main modes: in classic tag, one player is 'it' and must chase others; in infection mode, infected players become hunters, aiming to infect all survivors before time runs out. Players must use environmental momentum, such as bouncing off trunks to change direction unexpectedly, gaining extra speed to lose pursuers. Level design encourages vertical movement and aerial maneuvers, with players leaping between treetops for rapid offensive and defensive transitions.

Controls

Move and accelerate by swinging arms alternately; grab surfaces to climb and hang; release to jump; use surfaces to bounce and change direction for extra speed.
