The interface shows multiple test tubes, each containing layers of different colored liquids. To play, click or tap on a tube to select it; the topmost continuous layer of the same color is 'picked up'. Then click another tube to pour the liquid into it. A pour is only valid if the target tube's top liquid matches the poured color (or the target tube is empty), and the target tube has enough space for the incoming liquid. The challenge lies in efficiently using empty tubes as staging areas while planning a correct sequence of moves without getting stuck. Some levels feature locked tubes, whose liquids cannot be moved, forcing you to strategize around them. Upon successfully sorting all tubes so that each contains a single color, you earn a star rating and unlock subsequent, more difficult puzzles. The game includes undo and restart options to experiment with different approaches.
