Kiomet is a strategic real-time IO game developed by Softbear, set in a fast-changing, dynamic world where players must wisely grow, defend, and expand their kingdoms. The game focuses on territory control, resource management, and strategic decisions, with players conquering towers, upgrading defenses, and forming alliances to enhance their power. It features 27 unique towers and 10 distinct unit types, each marked by symbols, offering nearly endless strategic possibilities. In multiplayer mode, players can cooperate or compete with others, using in-game chat to coordinate attacks and defenses, forming strong alliances to control large map areas. The game tests players' tactical thinking and strategic planning, appealing to fans of real-time strategy and social interaction.
The core gameplay of Kiomet revolves around territory expansion and strategic defense. Players drag units to capture opponent or unclaimed towers, expanding their kingdom. After capturing towers, players can upgrade and fortify them to boost defenses and resource generation. The game emphasizes balancing aggression with defense, requiring players to establish optimal supply lines for efficient unit movement between towers. Protecting the king is a key objective, as losing the king ends the game. Players use directional arrows to find expansion areas and avoid being besieged by opponents. In multiplayer, players can propose or accept alliances; allies cannot attack each other, allowing for coordinated strategies, shared defensive responsibilities, and focus on common enemies. The gameplay is dynamic, with players constantly making tactical choices on where to expand, which towers to fortify, and when to strike.
Kiomet features simple and intuitive controls based on mouse and keyboard inputs. Players can move the camera using WASD keys or arrow keys, or by right-clicking and dragging to adjust the view. To send forces, players left-click and drag units to target towers for capture or movement. For alliance functions, players select an enemy tower and left-click the "two hands" icon to propose or accept an alliance. The interface also includes clicking on towers for upgrades and defense settings, as well as using in-game chat to communicate with other players. These controls are designed to provide a smooth gaming experience, allowing players to focus on strategic decisions and real-time interactions.
