Meccha Chameleon is an innovative online multiplayer hide-and-seek game that reinvents the classic concept. Players are divided into two teams: Hiders and Seekers. Hiders must manually camouflage themselves using paint and poses to blend into the environment, while Seekers must scan the scene to find them before time runs out. Unlike other games, Hiders do not automatically transform into objects; they must use a palette to match colors of walls, floors, trees, etc., and strike believable poses. The game begins with a preparation phase where Hiders explore the map, choose hiding spots, and paint themselves. Seekers are locked away during this time. When the search begins, Seekers look for suspicious details like odd shadows or color mismatches. Hiders must remain still to avoid detection. The game emphasizes creativity, observation, and psychological deception. Each round is unique, as players employ different strategies—some meticulously copy every detail, while others hide in plain sight. The game has become popular among content creators and friend groups for its originality and humorous situations.

Each round, players are randomly assigned as Hider or Seeker. As a Hider, use the preparation time to explore the map, find a good spot, and paint your character using the color palette to match the surroundings. You can also adjust your character's pose (e.g., crouch, lie down) to better blend in. Once Seekers start searching, you must stay completely still. As a Seeker, scan the entire map for any inconsistencies. The game has no time limit per se, but Seekers must find all Hiders within a set time to win. Hiders win if they remain undiscovered until time runs out. The game supports multiple players online, and roles swap each round.
