Devil's Gate
Devil's Gate is a platformer game where players guess trap locations on maps to avoid death, testing rationality and reflexes with each critical step.
In a whimsical world of mathematical wonders, mischievous chaos has sealed prime-number spirits onto a moving circular platform. As a skilled stick-thrower, your mission is to free them by hurling magical sticks at the platform. Each stick carries a mysterious energy that diminishes a prime number's value until it reaches zero. However, the platform never stops moving, and once a stick embeds, it stays attached and moves with the circle. If any two sticks collide, the seal fails and you must restart. As you progress, the circle's motion speeds up and the number of primes increases, creating tangled and overlapping rings that demand sharp timing and clever planning. Only the most precise and strategic minds can zero out all primes and restore harmony to the world.
The gameplay revolves around throwing sticks onto a moving circle. You have to observe the circle's trajectory and velocity, then tap at the right moment to embed sticks into the areas marked with prime numbers. Each hit reduces that prime's value by one, and when it reaches zero, the target clears. But remember, sticks stay where they land and move along with the circle, so you must avoid placing a new stick where it might touch an existing one. A collision between any two sticks ends the game. Levels introduce different prime counts and difficulty settings, and the movement patterns become increasingly complex. You need to plan not only your immediate throw but also the safety of future throws, balancing speed and caution to complete each level successfully.
Click or tap on the screen to throw a stick at the desired location on the moving circle. Time your click to avoid collisions with already placed sticks.
