Prop Busters

Prop Busters is an online multiplayer shooting game developed by Y8 Studio, released in 2018. Set in detailed 3D environments, players are divided into two teams: Hunters and Props. Hunters must locate and eliminate all disguised props before time runs out, while Props must blend into the scenery by morphing into everyday objects and survive until the clock expires. Inspired by classic hide-and-seek and prop hunt modes, the game mixes first-person shooter tension with casual, social fun. Built with WebGL, it runs directly in browsers without downloads. It supports multiplayer matchmaking, allowing players worldwide to compete in fast-paced rounds full of surprises and comedy. Whether chasing as a hunter or sneaking as a prop, every match offers suspense and entertainment for all ages.

Players are randomly assigned as Hunters or Props at the start of each round. Hunters have a first-person view and must find and kill all Props within the time limit. Props can transform into various map objects like chairs, barrels, or books, moving freely and swapping appearances to avoid detection. Props can also taunt hunters to distract them. Hunters must aim carefully with limited ammo; Props have no attacks and rely on stealth and positioning. Multiple map layouts provide varied strategies for both hiding and pursuit. If time runs out and any Prop survives, the Prop team wins. The game includes text chat for player interaction.
