In Rob Brainrot 2, the core gameplay revolves around collecting, protecting, and stealing Brainrots. Players gather Brainrots from spawn areas or other players' bases, and once placed in the base, these characters automatically generate passive income. Players must manage base defense by using a temporary lock feature (lasting 30 or 60 seconds) to prevent invasions and can equip weapons to attack thieves. Additionally, players can actively steal Brainrots from other unlocked bases to quickly expand their collection, but must be cautious of retaliation from base owners. The game includes a rebirth system where players can choose to rebirth, resetting some progress in exchange for extended lock times and boosts for faster progression in subsequent playthroughs. By continuously collecting rare characters and optimizing strategies, players can increase their base's wealth and strength, enjoying a process full of chaos and fun.
The game is primarily controlled via mouse or touchscreen. Specific controls may involve clicking to collect Brainrots, swiping to view character details, and pressing buttons for stealing or defense operations.
