Searchle emerged in the wake of the Wordle craze around 2023, developed as a fully web-based word guessing game that requires no app downloads or payments. The core gameplay of Searchle involves guessing a word within six tries, with each guess required to be a valid word. A color feedback system is used: green indicates correct letter in the correct position, yellow indicates correct letter in the wrong position, and gray indicates the letter is not in the word. Players use these hints to narrow down possibilities and solve the puzzle. The game includes unlimited puzzle mode for practice or fun, custom puzzle creation where players can input 5 to 6-letter words to make their own challenges shareable with friends, and daily challenges for community ranking competition, enhancing replayability.
