Devil's Gate
Devil's Gate is a platformer game where players guess trap locations on maps to avoid death, testing rationality and reflexes with each critical step.
Skate 3 takes place in Port Carverton, a fictional city with areas such as downtown, a university, and a skatepark. Team play is a major focus: players create their own skate brand, recruit other skaters, and compete in cooperative and competitive modes. After EA went years without releasing a sequel, Skate 3 became a cult classic, and the community kept it alive; it later came to Xbox One through backward compatibility. A browser port makes the entire game playable without downloads on phone, tablet, or computer, and it includes a multiplayer mode.
Skate 3 uses the Flick-It control scheme. The right analog stick acts like the skateboard, and its movements correspond to the skater's feet; every trick requires timing and practice. The game includes a skate school for learning tricks. In Hall of Meat, players deliberately throw themselves into the most dangerous area they can find to see how many bones they break, with exaggerated physics. The game also includes a flexible character editor and a skatepark editor for creating and sharing designs.
