Trick Hoops Challenge is a classic basketball skill game where players compete against the computer in a turn-based shooting contest. The goal is to score 3 points before the opponent by making baskets from various positions on the court. Players can choose different angles and distances, including trick shots off the backboard. The computer opponent adapts its difficulty, making the game progressively challenging. The game features simple graphics and intuitive controls, suitable for all ages. It was added to Y8 on April 6, 2008, and has been played over 1.5 million times.

Players take turns shooting the ball. To shoot, click and hold the mouse button, then drag to aim and set power; release to shoot. The ball must go through the hoop to score. The first to reach 3 points wins. Players can select shooting positions by moving the cursor; closer shots are easier but yield no extra points, while trick shots are harder but necessary to outscore the computer. The computer opponent randomly selects its shot position and has variable accuracy. The game includes a scoreboard and turn indicator.
